Detectives' hunt for a suspected Porsche thief led them to a massive identity-theft ring, authorities said Saturday.

Authorities raided a Studio City home in the 3200 block of Dos Palos Drive and discovered an estimated $2.5 million credit card manufacturing operation, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department statement. They found more than 6,000 blank credit cards with counterfeit American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover logos, along with fake driver's licenses and identification cards.

The stolen 2010 Porsche Panamera luxury sports car was also at the home, but the "very elusive" suspect wasn't, the statement said.

Authorities later arrested Andrew Foley Parker III, 36, who was suspected of stealing the vehicle from an auto leasing company, the statement said.

The detectives were with the Taskforce for Regional Authotheft Prevention, or TRAP, a multi-agency group.
