Authorities on Tuesday are searching for more victims of an alleged conman suspected of preying on young women new to California in search of Hollywood success.

Garry Boga, 27, was arrested on March 27 on suspicion of sexual battery by fraud.

An Arkansas native, Boga allegedly assaulted a 21-year-old woman from Illinois who responded to an ad on Craigslist.

Authorities said Boga used the alias "Tavion" to represent himself as a musician looking for a personal assistant.

Sgt. Tom Lorenz, with the Glendale Police Department, said the woman met Boga on Hollywood Boulevard. He allegedly told her to get in his car because he was running late for a meeting then drove her to an apartment in Glendale.

"He goes over the job description and then concludes that he has to give her a physical exam," said Sgt. Tom Lorenz, with the Glendale Police Department. "She gave into physical exam, which was basically rape."

Boga is believed to be a transient with tied to a Glendale address, police said.

Detectives said they’ve found a notebook with up to three dozen names of women who have answered similar ads allegedly posted by Boga.
