A delivery semi-truck severed a gas line in Thousand Oaks Thursday evening, authorities said.
The UPS truck’s front left wheel became wedged in a manhole cover (pictured below) on the sidewalk of Cunningham Road at Thousand Oaks Boulevard, aerial video showed.
No pedestrians were injured and no evacuations had been ordered as of 7 p.m., according to Ventura County fire officials.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
