A series of earthquakes -- the largest with magnitude-3.7 -- were reported Wednesday morning in the Palm Desert area.

The first quake, a magntude-3.4, occurred at 10:50 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Shaking was reported in Irvine, Cathedral City and La Quinta.
Subsequent quakes of magnitude-3.7 and 2.6 were reported within 30 minutes of the first quake.
There were no reports of damage.
