Parts of Johnson County were rocked late Saturday night after a home was destroyed in an explosion.

In a press release early Sunday morning, Sheriff Bob Alford with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office said dispatchers began receiving calls shortly before 11 p.m on November 30.

According to Sheriff Alford, dispatch received calls from Keene, Cleburne, Rio Vista, and Hill County. And neighbors were the ones who found the destroyed home in the 6600 block of E FM 916 near County Road 408.

Via Twitter, on Saturday night,  Johnson County Emergency Management said there are no evacuations ordered and "the structure is a complete loss."

Sunday afternoon, Sheriff Alford said the body of a 52-year-old woman was found in the debris.

With the assistance of the ATF, investigators with the Sheriff's Office determined the possible cause of the explosion appears to be a propane leak. But, the Sheriff's department said this is just a possible cause.

According the Johnson County press release, "the total numbers of first responders included 7 from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, 12 from the Grandview Fire Department and three trucks, 4 personnel from the ESD, 1 ATF agent, 1 from the FBI."
