The first of two men charged in connection with last month’s dry ice explosions at Los Angeles International Airport is scheduled for court Monday morning, officials said.

The hearing for Dicarlo Bennett, the 28-year-old baggage handler accused of planting two explosive devices -- plastic bottles containing dry ice -- is set for 8:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

Bennett pleaded not guilty last month to two counts of possession of a destructive device in a public place.

Bennett works for Servisair, a company that contracts with the LAX to handle luggage.

The bombs went off in an employee restroom and on the tarmac near terminal areas. No one was injured in either explosion, but the emergency response and investigation led to passenger delays.

If convicted, Bennett faces up to six years in jail.

Miguel Angel Iniguez, 41, of Inglewood, was also arrested in connection with the dry ice bombs.

Authorities described the the explosions as a dangerous "prank."
