A mother of 5-year-old twins has been missing for more than one week, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding her.
Iya Sloan, 30, of Los Angeles, went missing Nov. 6 after a night out with friends at an Inglewood nightclub, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a news release Wednesday.
Sloan stepped outside of the nightclub in the 200 block of South La Brea Avenue and Manchester Boulevard about 1 a.m. Nov. 6, according to the release. She has since vanished.
Police do not suspect foul play, but said the fact that Sloan does not have a history of disappearing and has not been in contact with her children is concerning.
Sloan is described African-American with brown hair and eyes. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
She was last seen wearing blue pants with a gray shirt, and gray open-toed shoes.
