Two sheriff's deputies were critically hurt in a multi-car crash in Pomona Wednesday night, authorities said.
The wreck happened about 10:15 p.m. at Temple Avenue and Valley Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Two vehicles -- a sport-utility vehicle and a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department patrol car -- were involved in the crash, a fire official said. The SUV was knocked onto its side in the collision, aerial footage showed.
Two deputies suffered critical injuries in the crash, officials said. The driver of the SUV was seriously hurt.
