Power Outage Affects Thousands in Simi Valley

A power outage affected nearly 2,900 homes in Simi Valley on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The outage began just before 5:30 p.m. and the cause was under investigation. Numerous traffic signals weren't working in the Simi Valley Police Department urged drivers to avoid the area until power is restored.
