Two people were killed Wednesday morning in a crash involving at least two trucks that forced lane closures on the 60 Freeway in Pomona.
A rescue helicopter crew landed on the freeway to transported a third victim. Details regarding the victim's injuries were not immediately available.
At least two eastbound lanes and several nearby transition roads are closed after the crash involving a cargo box truck and big rig near the 71 Freeway. Aerial video showed soda cans, water bottles and other items from the box truck spread across several freeway lanes.
The transition road to the 71 Freeway also is closed.
The crash led to backups on both sides of the freeway.
