A fire truck apparently T-boned a pickup truck in a Wilmington intersection late Monday afternoon, sending one person who was inside the truck to the hospital.
The crash took place about 4:10 p.m. at Pacific Coast Highway and Figueroa Street (map), Los Angeles Fire Department officials said.
An occupant of the truck was taken to a local hospital, officials said. The severity of that person's injuries was not known.
No firefighters were hurt, officials said.
An engine belonging to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Station 85 appeared to be involved in the collision, aerial footage from the scene showed.
Traffic was diverted at the intersection as police investigated the crash.
