Deputies received a report of a break-in late Tuesday at a Rancho Palos Verdes home involving two masked men who ransacked the residence for about three hours before leaving with cash.
Three residents -- a couple and their daughter -- were home at the time of the home invasion-robbery, but investigators said they could not provide a detailed description of the robbers.
The break-in was reported at about 11 p.m. Tuesday, about three hours after the victims said the men knocked on the door of the home on Miraleste Drive and forced their way into the house. It was not immediately clear whether the residents were restrained as the men collected items in the home.
No injuries were reported.
